2 Dear Colleague: It is with great pleasure that we invite you to Chicago for AANA18 the 37th Annual Meeting of the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA). The Annual Meeting is the largest arthroscopy focused meeting in the world and we are confident that AANA18 will be well worth the time away from your practice. AANA18 will deliver on AANA s reputation for providing cutting-edge scientific research, innovative trends and practical information you can put into practice immediately. New this year, we will be simulcasting four surgeries live from Chicago s Rush University Medical Center, and we have expanded the Instructional Course Lectures to allow for a deeper dive into the evidence-based information. We are excited to host Italy as this year s featured nation. Join us for the International Innovation Lecture, featuring Pietro Randelli, M.D., and other opportunities to tap into the Italian knowledge transfer. We look forward to their perspectives and expertise Benvenuto Italia! Chicago is the perfect backdrop for this meeting. Not only is it the hometown of the AANA headquarters, but it has everything we look for in a venue. From historical architecture, to a bustling art scene, to some of the best cuisine in the world, the Windy City is a great town with rich ambiance. We would like to extend a special invitation to those of you who have never attended an AANA Annual Meeting. Inclusiveness is a cornerstone of this great organization and we want you to see first-hand how we come together to improve our work, our patients outcomes and our specialty. We look forward to seeing you in Chicago! Robert Hunter, M.D. President Mark Getelman, M.D. Program Chairman The Gold Standard in Arthroscopic Education AANA has been surveyed by the ACCME and warded a coveted Accreditation with Commendation for six years as a provider of CME for physicians.
