April, 1999 Medical Students = 8 hours per week 3-5 students on rotation for three weeks at Children's Hospital Medical Center. Students attend morning rounds, some OR sessions and ENT Clinic every afternoon. Student lecture every Tuesday morning. Neural Science Course = hours of lectures on auditory and vestibular physiology. Internship Advisor Program = Students Yearly Senior Medical Student Lecture Monthly lecture to senior medical students on OTO Rotation OTO Residents Several hours each week teaching in OR and Clinic Pediatric Residents 1 resident on elective, intermittently. Periodic lectures at noon conferences. Numerous episodes weekly of bedside clinical teaching. Family Medicine Residents 1 resident on elective each quarter Nurses Weekly conference for the ENT Clinic nursing staff. Speech Therapists Teaching sessions with speech therapists at Miami University who come to observe surgery on their patients and review diagnostic workup on patients with speech problems. Audiologists Occasional teaching sessions to audiologists, correlating the sciences of otology and audiology.
