LeTer to the Editor If authors disagree that there are minor errors warranhng changes in the published paper, they can request that the reviewer submit a LeTer to the Editor. The EIC will invite the reviewer to submit the LeTer and forward the leter to authors, invihng them to submit their response. RetracHon: If the Editor has concerns that a major error was made or that there may be evidence of research fraud, authors may be asked to retract their paper. If authors choose not to retract the paper, the Editor may seek recommendahons from COPE or forward the case to the journal s publishing company for legal proceedings/retrachon.
