7 PROline PLUS INSPECTION SOLUTIONS 9 ULTRASONIC INSPECTION SOFTWARE for the PROline ultrasonic inspection system family PROline PLUS is an extreme user-friendly inspection software for the imaging display and evaluation of ultrasonic inspection data for PROline inspection systems. Thanks to the user-friendly software layout, just a minor training effort and a short-term period of familiarization is needed to enable safe handling with the system. In connection with PROline PLUS the PROline USB ultrasonic inspection device is a flexible, PC supported inspection system with Windows interface for the mechanized and automated ultrasonic inspection in production as well as stand-alone solution for applications in the laboratory. MODULAR SOFTWARE DESIGN adapted to your needs PROline PLUS comprises the following areas: device driver software instrument sofware inspection plan administration system configuration inspection data display inspection data evaluation control interface (SPS) barcode reader (DMC) networking interface, e.g. SCADA and more The device driver software forms the basis for the inspection software PROline PLUS. When using this software the user is able to access the ultrasonic raw data and process it with his own software. 10 INLINE SPOT WELD INSPECTION SYSTEM INLINE ULTRASONIC SPOT WELD INSPECTION SYSTEM The SPOTline ultrasonic inspection system controls the spot weld quality during the production process. Therefore ultrasonic sensors are directly integrated into the welding tong. The SPOTline server supports the ultrasonic client for self regulation, the parameterisation as well as the determination of the evaluation criteria. The test results may be transmitted by means of an information software for instance to the plant controller, the welding departments and the administrators. The ultrasonic signals are transmitted to a SPOTline ultrasonic client. With an intelligent, self-learning evaluation software, the client evaluates the spot weld quality within the welding process. It communicates with the welding control, the robotic control and a server for data evaluation The ultrasonic signals are received with an impulse repetition reduction of personnel costs rate of 500 Hz, i.e. an ultrasonic measuring is carried out reduction of production costs by reducing rejects 16 every 2 ms for the total welding time. The welding start and reduction of the product liability risk stop are registered by means of an optional sensor if the VDA/ISO 9000 documentation welding control is not able to supply this information with the required precision. The spot weld quality result is memorized in the SPOTline server on a SQL data base with reference to the relevant tong, module, date and time. 11 PHASED ARRAY SPOT WELD INSPECTION SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION SOFTWARE PHAsis manager TCP or local UTILITY PROGRAM TCP MANUAL INSPECTION DEVICES PHAsis one with inspection and evaluation software PHAsis manager TCP or local MS SQL Express with data base PHAsis one ultrasonic inspection device with live D-Scan Distributed complete system with various manual inspection systems PHAsis one - PHASED ARRAY SPOTWELD INSPECTION SYSTEM 17 PHAsis one is a phased array spot weld inspection device designed for the fast and accurate inspection of resistance welded spots of steel- and aluminium sheets. 121 ultrasonic elements and a 11 x 11 matrix grant for a physical resolution more precise than 0.35 mm for the inspection of the spot weld diameter. More than 700 measuring points are recorded per spot weld. The inspection time is just a few seconds per spot. PHAsis one provides data on the diameter of the welding spot, the remaining wall thickness of the welded area as well as the sound attenuation caused by structural transformation as possible evaluation criteria for zinc adhesion. The compact and robust housing and its low weight of 3.5 kg make PHAsis one the ideal equipment for mobile operation. The PHAsis device inspection and evaluation software on the device is specifically designed by VOGT Ultrasonics for quick use during production. The intuitive operation guarantees a minimum need of training. The software of the device supports the customer with a live D-Scan and amplitude-based alignment points for the optimum focussing of the probe on the spot weld to be inspected. The imaging display of the phased array technology ensures the safe evaluation of the inspection results. The created display of the spot weld with coloured depth imaging of the welded areas shows defects in the welding. By freezing the D-scan PHAsis one automatically provides an evaluation proposal. 18 All data is organized by means of the PHAsis manager administration software and synchronized with the PHAsis one ultrasonic inspection device. If needed the system communicates with the customer s data base by individually adapted interfaces. The data and user administration as well as the creation of various inspection plans are clearly designed for easy and fast editing. Inspection result of the spot weld quality
12 PHASED ARRAY INSPECTION TECHNOLOGY QuartZ test instrument used for the integration in inspection systems UltraVision 3 inspection software ZETEC UltraVision 3 inspection software 19 ZETEC develops and produces fast and high-performance phased array ultrasonic inspection devices, probes as well as user-friendly software. VOGT integrates Zetec equipment in PROline inspection systems and uses Zetec inspection devices for NDT services. QuartZ test instrument for the integration in inspection systems QuartZ is a high-performance phased array ultrasonic inspection device, which VOGT uses e.g. for the integration in phased array inspection systems to realize fast and complex inspection solutions. It is ideally suited for the component testing in production and communicates via the UltraVision inspection software. UtraVision 3 is a high-performance, PC-based software for data recording, online display and evaluation of the inspection results as well as for the offline evaluation of the saved inspection data. UltraVision 3 provides a comprehensive range of functions and accessories for a fast, efficient inspection data record and evaluation. The software supports a wide range of extended phased array inspection methods as well as conventional ultrasound. The 3D work environment enables the development of relevant inspection techniques and data visualization in realistic component geometry. With the software development kit of ZETEC, VOGT integrates the phased array device and software in your inspection system. 20 Manual inspection device for mechanized inspections TOPAZ is the first fully integrated, high-performance phased array inspection device with a multi-touch-screen. Besides the mechanized scanners, VOGT uses TOPAZ for manual inspection services to realize mobile phased array and TOFD ultrasonic inspections. The UltraVision 3 software is used for inspection and evaluation. TOPAZ phased array manual inspection device
13 PHASED ARRAY FLAW DETECTOR TOPAZ EFICIENTLY COMBINED Pipe Scanner flexibly adjustable 21 For optimal utilization of the high performance of TOPAZ in the mechanized inspection, VOGT uses various scanner systems of PHOENIX. With these scanners inspection paths can be recorded with high precision. Therefore defects within the component are precisely localized. Especially by the creation of test reports the imaging display of the position localization and defect size is easily realized by using TOPAZ combined with mechanized scanners. The following systems represent a selection. We are happy to advice you for your individual application or provide you with an inspection service. Ideal suited for the inspection of austenitic pipes with a size of 4-8 and for using phased array inspection technology. MagMan Scanner All in just one ride Ideal suited for the weld seam inspection with several probes including phased array, TOFD and impulseecho technique for pipes and plates with a size starting of 1,5. The system can simultaneously work with up to 12 ultrasonic probes. 22 Tracer Scanner no contour to difficult Bracelet Scanner compact and fast The perfect scanner for phased array inspection of weld seams in pipes (0,5 bis 4 ) with restricted access. Bracelet can be moved past adjacently obstacles to ensure a 360 inspection- even if just one side of the pipe is accessible. The free-handed scanner system precicely records X-/Y-position data for C-scans. Tracer is ideally suited for fast and flexible area scans using conventional or phased array probes.
