Energy Psychology is the best technique for releasing fears and traumas. Say Yes to your Client s Life Orlando, FL May 2018 Sandi Radomski ND, LCSW Energy Psychology is great at getting the weight of the world off of your back. How to use Ask & Receive to not only release the weight of trauma and fear but to truly say YES to your client s life. 1. Create positive statement of what you truly want, what excites you, what gets your mojo working. 2. Use Ask & Receive to get you aligned with that positive desire. From Survive to Thrive 3. Along the way, we release any traumas or limiting beliefs. 4. Positive statement is our guide. 1
1. There is a part of my being that already knows I am tingling with excitement to learn. Ask & Receive is Energy Psychology s version of Positive Psychology 2. That part of my being is willing to inform the rest of me now. 3. It is doing so now with grace and ease. 4. My mind, body and spirit are receiving this information. 5. The information transfer is now complete. Simple, structured way to ask for and receive what you deserve in all areas of your life. Tom s Allergies -story Throat cancer Chris's knee Addicted baby Combination of: Words- no tapping or holding Focus on Positive Allergies Trauma Muscle Testing States of Consciousness 1 2 2
We all have a higher, broader perspective. We don t always have access to it. Repeat 5 statements of Ask & Receive to get higher states information. 1 3 We can t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. 1 4 Einstein Higher States have the answer Ask & Receive is a way to access higher states knowledge Power of the Word Trauma creates limiting beliefs that run us Ask & Receive heals and releases the traumas and the resulting limiting beliefs Unhook past traumas and limiting beliefs from your current reality 1. There is a part of my being already knows. 2. That part of my being is willing to inform the rest of me now. 3. It is doing so now with grace and ease. 4. My mind body and spirit are receiving this information. 5. Information transfer is now complete. 1. Identify what you want. 2. Believe it is possible to have what you want. 3. Realize you deserve to have what you want. 4. Receive what you want from that part of your Being that knows how to give it to you. 3
Create a Positive Statement of what you want. Be Sure To Ask For Enough! What excites you, gets your mojo working. Use Ask & Receive to get congruence with that positive desire. Along the way, we release any traumas or limiting beliefs but what guides us is your Positive Statement. Positive statement is the Beacon of Light that Guides us. Based on what you want In the now Dynamic Makes you feel jazzed, excited & happy Specific or general About you, not about them. I am healthy, strong and vibrant. Instead of I want to stop my pain. I am vibrantly healthy and joyfully move freely. I move with ease and comfort and am able to do everything I want. I have a job I love and and have lots of money. I am vibrantly happy. My husband and I have a wonderful, loving relationship. I publish my book and am a New York Times bestseller. 4
The goal is to be in alignment with the positive statement. When you are in alignment with the positive statement, the positive is more likely to happen. Traumas Limiting beliefs Most blocking traumas are from: Pre-birth Birth Infancy Early childhood Early trauma creates patterns/blueprint for life. Traumas Cord around neck. Stuck in birth canal Emergency C section. Maternal stress Financial stress Sibling jealousy Adoption Patterns of Limiting Beliefs Life is scary. I am helpless. I can t do it myself. I am unwanted I am unloved There is no place for me I am unwanted and unloved 5
Our job is to unhook from these early traumas and their resulting patterns of limiting beliefs. Misguided Actions Fear-based Choices Painful Experience Skewed Thinking Interpretations Generalizations Conclusions Limiting Beliefs Trauma affects us physically and emotionally. 17 of first 20 participants had a trauma from BIRTH that was blocking them 10 had life-threatening Birth Trauma 50% of people with money issues had a life threatening Birth Trauma Adverse childhood experiences negatively affected emotional and physical health as adults. Adverse childhood experiences 1. Psychological 2. Physical Abuse 3. Sexual Abuse 4. Violence Against Mother 5. Household members who were substance abusers, mentally ill, suicidal or imprisoned (Felitti,et al, American Journal of preventive Medicine, 1998) Correlation between number of risk factors and adult health risk behaviors and diseases. Emotional consequences- alcoholism, drug abuse, depression, suicide attempts Physical consequences- heart disease, cancer, lung disease, skeletal fractures and liver disease. 3 or more of 5 possible childhood risk factors- 85% chance of unsuccessful back surgery No risk factors- 5% chance of unsuccessful surgery (Schofferman et al, San Francisco Spine Institute, 1992) 6
86 Patients Retrospective Study Risk Factors- 1. Physical abuse 2. Sexual abuse 3. Alcohol or drugs 4. Abandonment 5. Emotional neglect or abuse. Our beliefs change our behavior and even changes our physiology Gherlin Maids and weight Gherlin- Hormone Controls Hunger Groups A & B - Both had milkshake: 380 calories Group A - Believes 620 calories - indulgent Group B - Believes 140 calories - restricted Group A - Gherlin went down after ingesting shake. Group B - Gherlin stayed flat after ingesting shake. 84 hotel maids 7 hotels Informed group and Uninformed control group Informed group was told that their normal activities as a hotel maid are considered good exercise by the Surgeon General. BELIEF CHANGED HORMONE LEVEL! 3 9 Informed Group showed improvement in: Weight Body Mass index- BMI Body-fat percentage Waist to hip ratio Systolic blood pressure Diastolic Blood pressure You first need to feel SAFE. Alia J. Crum and Ellen J. Langer, Mind-set Matters: Exercise and the Placebo Effect. Psychological Science 18, no. 2 7
False Evidence Appearing Real Secure Attitude Facing Everything 4 4 F E A R S A F E 45 The most important question facing humanity: Is the universe a friendly place? Albert Einstein A person needs SAFTEY first You can t be in growth and protection at the same time. Our job is to create a foundation of safety for our clients. 8
If a person feels unprotected from the outside, their body believes it needs to be hyperprotective and hyper-vigilant from the inside. Increased inflammation Words can be inflammatory. Isabell Wendt Frightened Scared Wary Hyper vigilant Ways to access unconscious information 1. Simple 2. Muscle test guided 3. Felt Sense Guided Simply insert your desired positive statement in the blank in first sentence of Ask & Receive. 1. There is a part of my being that already knows. 2. That part of my being is willing to inform the rest of me now. 3. It is doing so now with grace and ease. 4. My mind, body and spirit are receiving this information. 5. Information transfer is now complete. Airplane nausea Insect repellent Traffic Restaurant wait Autistic- bugs, agitation Kidney stone Sleep I no longer need to feel terrified and helpless like I did when I was young. I no longer need to let the terrified and helpless little one run my life. It is safe for me to be alive. It is safe for me to live. It is safe for me to love. It is safe for me to truly be loved. 9
1. Muscle Testing 2. Felt Sense A way to access unconscious information. Determine whether you are congruent or not congruent. Create positive statement Always use a declarative statement. 10
Muscle Test Guided Ask & Receive Demonstration Say: My name is Strong Say: My name is Ben Franklin Weak Think: of something wonderful Strong Think: of something terrible Weak Think: of someone you love Strong Think: of someone who upsets you Weak Say: yes Strong Say: no Weak Muscle Test Guided Protocol Create positive statement CALIBRATION I. Muscle test Positive Statement. Check for congruence with positive statement II. III. IV. Say: There is a Trauma blocking this statement. Re-Muscle Test Positive Statement. Say: There is a Limiting Belief blocking this statement. Release any blocks to congruence Instill positive statement V. Re-Muscle Test Positive Statement. Check for congruence with positive statement The Secret to Tom has often said that Ask & Receive is the Secret to the Secret. Ask & Receive is also the Secret to Positive Psychology. Positive Psychology Scientific study of what makes life worth living. Reaction against focus on mental illness, dysfunctional behavior and negative thinking. Ask & Receive designed to focus on the positive. 11
What makes life worth living? Have a good death. Have a good life. Pictures of Bob Schwartz playing guitar Connection to family and friends Meditation Pam hiking Flute Teaching with light Motorcycle Dance What do you want? Create a positive statement of what you want. What Gives You JOY??? Demonstration of using Muscle Test Guided Ask & Receive for achieving your desires. GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!! 12
