1 Call for Abstract 7 th International Conference International Conference on Positive Psychology: Developing a Flourishing Community (November 15-16, 2018) is pleased to announce its 7 th International Conference, Positive Psychology: Developing a Flourishing Community on November 15-16, The major Objectives of the conference are to provide opportunities for social scientists, academicians, civil society organizations, and students from all over the world to share knowledge and experiences and to highlight the issues and challenges that need to be addressed. We welcome Empirical Papers, Panel Sessions, Round Table Discussions, and Posters focusing on different issues related to Positive Psychology. Following themes in context of positive psychology can be covered in below mentioned categories: Hope and Happiness Disaster and Posttraumatic Growth Health and Wellness Social work and Social Change Family and Interpersonal Relations Sports and Physical Exercise Personality and Individual differences Assessment and Interventions Lifespan Development Work and Organizations Education Culture and Global Issues Counseling and Psycho-education Clinical Populations and psychotherapy

2 Submission Deadline All proposal / abstract (paper presentation, poster presentation, preconference workshops, symposium, roundtable discussions, and panel sessions) submissions are due by Thursday, 10 th, May,2018. Prof. Dr. Anila Kamal (Chief Organizer) dranilakamal@nip.edu.pk Dr. Irum Naqvi (Organizer/Coordinator) conference@nip.edu.pk Call for Abstracts Abstract (not more than 200 words) based on empirical research along with CV of the presenter (for official purpose only) should be submitted by 10 th May, After Review from Scientific Committee, acceptance for paper presentations will be sent to the author(s). Full text papers will be required to be submitted within 30 days of intimation of abstract approval of the scientific committee. Paper presentations will be contingent upon submission of full text papers. Empirical papers can also be presented in poster format. The procedure for selection of poster presentation will be the same as mentioned in paper presentations. A special issue of Pakistan Journal of Psychological Research (for detail about journal visit journal website will be published for conference papers. Only papers submitted within 30 days of the approval notification will be considered for a blind review to be included in the special issue of PJPR.

3 Call for Pre-Conference Workshops Those who are interested in organizing workshop on varying issues of Psychology can contact us. These workshops can be scheduled from June, 2018 onwards depending upon feasibility and suitability of time. The outline for the workshop and CV of the resource persons must be shared beforehand so that scientific committee could scrutinize it. On the basis of committee s recommendations, the acceptance for organizing the workshop will be given.
