7 Newfoundland Labrador Counsellorsâ and Psychologistsâ Association A Special Interest Council of the NLTA CALL for PRESENTERS The NLCPA will be having their annual conference for counsellors and psychologists October 25-26, 2018 in St. Johnâ s. Any professionals in the field of education, counselling, psychotherapy, psychology and/or mental health are welcome to submit a proposal. All presentations/workshops will follow a 75 minute Concurrent Session format. We will consider single and double sessions: October 25 (Thursday) and/or October 26 (Friday). 9 The Pottle Centre is looking for Volunteers to sit on our Board of Directors Organization Information: The Pottle Centre is a non-profit drop in social and recreational centre for consumers of mental health services who are 19 years and older. The Pottle Centre was founded in 1980 under the original name of The Canadian Mental Health Association Social Centre. It changed names and moved several times; currently the centre is located at 200 Water Street. All volunteers should have good interpersonal and relationship skills and be accepting and non-judgemental of clients and their abilities.
