Research on productive engagement and psychological well-being among older Chinese retirees Principal Investigator. Secondary research on the National Health and Aging Trends Study (NHATS). NHATS is a US national longitudinal study that provides the basis for understanding trends in late-life functioning, how these differ for various population subgroups, and the economic and social consequences of aging for individuals, families, and society. The research examines the correlation between social participation and internet connection and quality of life indicators Principal Investigator. Secondary research on the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study, (CHARLS), CHARLS is being fielded in 2011 and includes about 10,000 households and 17,500 individuals in 150 counties/districts and 450 villages/resident committees in China. This research explores productive engagement in later life among well and frail elderly populations in China Principal Investigator. Secondary research on the World Health Survey (WHS), WHS, was conducted by WHO, has been completed in 70 countries and the data sets have been cleaned and weighted and prepared for analysis.
