1 Normative data for a crosscultural neuropsychological test battery for assessment of minority and majority populations in Europe Multicultural normative data for the CrossCultural Neuropsychological Test Battery (CNTB) are based on cognitively intact subjects: European majority subjects (Belgian, Danish, German, Greek, Norwegian, Swedish), and Moroccan, Pakistani/Indian Punjabi, 1 Polish, Turkish, and 1 Yugoslavian ethnic minority subjects. The norms tables were constructed using overlapping cells, which is a wellestablished approach to the presentation of norms based on limited data sets (Pauker, 1). Although each education group in the norms tables covers only three years (e.g. to years of education) the statistics are based on subjects with an education range of years (e.g. 1 years). Thus, the midpoint of each age group (e.g. years of education) is also the midpoint of the underlying education range on which the statistics are based. In order to present norms close to the extreme ends of the education spectrum two minor modifications were made: the statistics for education group years were based on subjects with years of education (midpoint years) and the statistics for education group years was based on subjects with 1 years of education (midpoint years). The three applied age groups each covers years (e.g. ) but the statistics are based on subjects with an age range of years (e.g. years; midpoint years). Pauker, J. D. (1). Constructing overlapping cell tables to maximize the clinical usefulness of normative test data: rationale and an example from neuropsychology. J.Clin.Psychol.,,.
