2 Brief job description I work as consultant MSK radiologist and in charge of the MSK section in Salmaniya Medical Complex after finishing my subspecialty MSK training from McGill University, Montreal, Canada in Since that time I've been working in SMC. I established the MSK section which was not existing priorly, doing all the MSK work including plain radiography, ultrasound ( which was first in Bahrain), CT, MRI, CT and MRI Arthrogram and interventional procedures such as aspiration, injection of all joints, US and CT guided soft tissue and bone biopsy, aspiration of calcific tendonitis of the rotator cuff. This is done in addition to general Radiology work. I work very closely with the orthopedic surgeons, Rheumatologist and oncologist, discussing cases and providing the imaging plan for the patients. Also I do a lot of teaching to our Radiology residents, the orthopedic residents, Family Physician and Physiotherapists all over Bahrain as well. Oct. 2001: Back to Salmaniya Medical Complex As Chief Resident Worked in all Branches of Clinical Radiology; plain Radiography, US, including Doppler and OBS/GYN US, basic MRI, basic Interventional and drainage procedures April 2001: Passed the final FFR RCSI exam in Dublin and the FRCR II A - London Feb. 2000: Joined the Radiology programme in Mubarak Al Kabeer Hospital Kuwait, as preparation for Part II FFR-RCSI. Programme is run by the Royal college Of Surgeons in Ireland. Oct Dec 99: Clinical attachment in University Hospital Of Wales Cardiff UK. I also help in fund raising to the society since it is a non profit institute and depends on donations and charities for the running coasts.
