3 Medicolegal Profile I am experienced in providing Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury Reports. I receive regular instruction on behalf of Claimant and Defendant. I have practised Clinical Radiology for 20 years as a Consultant and write 150 medicolegal reports per annum. I have received formal accredited training as an Expert Witness the Bond Solon Cardiff University Course with award of the Certificate in This includes Expert Report writing, Court procedure and cross examination training. I am familiar with CPR 35 and PD 35 and 2009 revisions. I have completed the Bond Solon CPR Rules for Expert Witness Certificate in I have acted as a SJE. I maintain my CPD in Expert Witness matters. I was admitted as an Individual Member of the Expert Witness Institute in I am recognised as an expert in Musculoskeletal Radiology. I am an elected member of the British Society of Skeletal Radiologists and the European Society of Skeletal Radiologists. Both require an established practice and recommendation from musculoskeletal radiologists for membership. I have given more than 100 lectures on musculoskeletal radiology on a national basis. My area of musculoskeletal expertise lies in imaging of shoulder, elbow, wrist, spine, hip, knee, ankle and foot. My routine radiological practice involves these areas. My routine clinical practice includes trauma, infection, tumour and other musculoskeletal conditions. I also practice general radiology for 20% of my professional time and undertake emergency work. I report more than 3000 MRI examinations of the musculoskeletal system per annum. I routinely report CT, Nuclear medicine (isotope) x-ray and ultrasound examinations of the musculoskeletal system. I provide a musculoskeletal imaging service to 16 Orthopaedic Surgeons and 4 Rheumatologists in the Health Board. I offer a prompt reporting service with a turnaround time of less than three weeks for routine instructions. I am willing to discuss potential instructions without charge. I am happy to address simple queries without the need for additional supplementary fees. I am willing to prioritise work to meet earlier deadlines. For Clinical Negligence cases a period of 3 weeks is advised, in order to enable full analysis of papers. My Claimant:Defendant is 50:50. I have reported approximately 100 Personal injury cases and Negligence cases per annum I have been reporting PI cases for 15 years and Negligence cases for 6 years.
