All these were macropterous and were taken in August and September. Kelisia bimaculata Beamer A nice series both sexes this species in August. All are w taken at New Canaan, N. H., are the types. Kelisia curvata Beamer The range this beautiful little dark-lined species is here extended fol lows; Dall, Tex, Dec. 5,1945; Old Ocean, Tex, Ja 3,1946; Chapel Hill, N. C, Aug. 31, 1946; Gainesville, Fia., Dec. 25,1950. Additial Kelisia pectinata Beamer this species have been taken in Tinley Park and Paxt, III, July, Kelisia retrorsa Beamer The range this species h been increed by material from the follow ing localities Canaan, N. H.; Colchester, C; Storrs, C; and Ding mans Ferry, Pa. All were taken in August, Kelisia s pinos a Beamer Additial material this species h been added from the following lo calities Pact?la, S. D.; and Dingmans Ferry, Pa. 1. Kelisia torquata Brachypterous form Kelisia curvata Beamer but lgitudinal dark very light, process near middle aedeagus many divisis instead a single process and lyre-shaped anal segment processes out a median bal tooth in caudal view. Length S 3 mm., mm. Structure widest just before be, tapering to pointed apices, more so mesal s, extending about e-seventh their length beyd abdome Hind reduced to tiny pads. Color General color stramineous a very light amber colored from hind eye to where it is darker, not more covering than e-third area ; body out definite dark markings. Genitalia Pyger male in lateral view more or less triangular, posterior angle broadly rounded, bal angles somewhat sharper; anal segment posterior s truncate, less than half lg inner a bal pair processes widest at be, lyre-shaped in caudal view out a median tooth; aedeagus lg and broader than normal for the genus a bal ventral process which ends just before middle shaft in a number finger like processes, the number variable; apex shaft more or less twisted a sharp tooth either side before not bilaterally symmetrical. Kelisia parvicurvata Brachypterous form Resembles Kelisia curvata Beamer but definitely smaller, median lgi tudinal much less dense, median process venter aedeagus lger and out a sharp demarcati between the apical and bal porti. Length S 2.2 mm., mm. Structure widest at scutellum, to tapering evenly sharpened apices, barely reaching beyd abdomen; hind reduced to tiny pads about half an large eye. Color General color stramineous to almost white; light brown from back eye to where it is darker, occupies slightly less than e-third area ; body some are slightly dusky alg lateral mar gins. Genitalia Male pyger in lateral view more or less triangular caudal angle broadly rounded and toward dorsal ; posterior anal segment broadly rounded and less than e-fourth lg anterior or dor sal ; lyre-shaped processes in caudal view narrow, not half lg aedeagus, s turned out, out median tooth in caudal view; aedea gus lg and slender an elgated process ventral side bal third which is not deeply incised its ventral side near middle. Holotype $, allotype 2, 1 S and 6 2 paratypes, Palatka, Fla., March 10,1947, R. H. Beamer. Collectis. 3. Kelisia flava Brachypterous form Resembles Kelisia flagellata Beamer in internal male genitalia but h no dark color at all the and the are lger and more pointed out branches in apices. Length #3.2 mm.,?. 3.4 mm. Structure widest bal third, slightly narrowed to rounded apices, extending about e-fifth their length beyd abdomen; hind reduced to mere pads less than half an large eye. Male pyger quite hairy. Color General color dark stramineous narrow white median lgi tudinal protum, almost hyaline a small black more or less angular black spot apices. Male pyger almost black, various darkened are over abdome Genitalia Pyger male in lateral view more or less triangular, ventral corner broadest, caudal angle about a right angle; processes at be anal segment about half lg aedeagal shaft, almost straight, quite narrow; aedeagus straight, widest at be, narrowed to twisted apex, median ventral process about half lg shaft, enlarged to a large lobe apically, laterally flattened.
