5 Leadership and participation Maintain a working group to implement and monitor policy post introduction Project Group St. Vincent s University Hospital Representatives from all disciplines Steering Group Chaired by CEO and comprised of senior management Health Promotion Committee Chaired by medical consultant and membership includes: senior manager responsible for TFC, Assistant Director of Nursing, and representatives from other disciplines.

They meet once a week and review the process on a regular basis. All decisions concerning the tobacco free policy are discussed and worked out in the regular management meetings the director of the clinic is in charge of the working group and head of the German network of smokefree hospitals DNRfK
