1 The CSG Committee on Shared State Legislation convened on Thursday, December 6th and Saturday, December 8th to review docket 40A of the 2020 SSL cycle. The docketed contained 190 bills on a variety of issues. For each bill, the committee had four options: include it in the SSL volume; include the bill in the volume as a note, which indicates the committee believes the bill (and other similar bills addressing the topic) to be of interest to state leaders but a broader perspective is more warranted; defer consideration; or reject the bill. The committee approved 21 bills to be included in the 2020 SSL volume and deferred action on 3 bills to a future SSL committee meeting. The committee also requested that notes be prepared for inclusion in the volume on 2 bills. The following SSL committee members attended: Mr. Jerry Bassett - AL Senator Gary Stevens - AK Ms. Katrina Matheny - AK Representative Kevin Ryan - CT Ms. Lindsey Beaver - IL Representative Suzanne Miles - KY Mr. Jay Hartz - KY Senator Max Wise - KY Mr. Dustin Assel - ND Representative Kim Koppelman - ND Representative Dennis Roch - NM Senator Mo Denis - NV Senator John Gordner - PA The outcome of measures taken up by the committee is as follows:
