Part of the Solution A Violence Awareness Campaign Presented by the Atlantic County Women s Center Northfield, NJ
Atlantic County Women s Center
Our Mission Since 1975 Empowering women by working to secure their physical safety, emotional well being, individual freedom and economic equality.
Violence Intervention Program serves survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and incest. Violence Intervention Program
Part of the Solution A four month community campaign partnering with men and boys in a solution to end violence, both domestic violence and sexual assault, against women and girls. Men and boys will be asked to model behavior that is Part of the Solution, and also have zero tolerance for violent behavior in their friends, families and co workers. Part of the Solution also encompasses in service trainings, workshops, a walk a thon and a large media campaign. It encourages community involvement and builds on the collective strength of women and men working together towards a solution against violence.
I know that violence never equals strength. That real men don't use their power to rape or hurt physically or emotionally. That I am a role model and respect and honor the women in my life. I'm Part of the Solution Be Part of the Solution to End Violence Against Women and Girls. Call the Atlantic County Women's Center and find out how you can help. Take the Pledge. Act Now. Call or The Atlantic County Women's Center is a non profit Agency serving this community for over thirty years. A United Way Partner Agency. Website: acwcdsl@verizon. ne
Part of the Solution (POS) Time Lines
Make a Stand. Take the Pledge. POS Pledge Become Part of the Solution I understand That what I do and say can either encourage or discourage stereotypes that can lead to violence against women and girls. That violence against women and girls can be prevented. That real men don t use their power to rape or hurt, either physically or emotionally. That men and boys play a critical role in breaking the cycle of violence against women and girls. I promise To take a stand and never commit, condone, accept or stay silent about violence against women and girls. To challenge other men to recognize that they can be powerful without making others powerless. To be a role model for boys who will then understand that violence against women and girls is never a valid outlet for anger, frustration, jealousy or the need to control. To encourage all men to work together with women, using their collective voices and resources to END violence against women and girls. Not only in this community, but across the State and Nation.
POS Sample Media I want my daughter and granddaughters to live without fear. I want all women to thrive, not just survive. I m Part of the Solution. In the United States, 1-in-3 women are victims of domestic abuse. Be Part of the Solution to end violence against women. Call the Atlantic County Women s Center and find out how you can help. Take the pledge act now. Call or The Atlantic County Women s Center is a non-profit social service Agency serving this community for over thirty years.
