Provide Security information On the member s website or through Alerts, you can get security information: proprietary risk ratings for countries and cities, profiles on personal safety, petty crime, kidnapping, violent crime, social unrest, rule of law, and corruption; situational developments, special incident advisories, and travel alerts. Also, Our Security specialists provide advice and assistance on travel, domestic and personal security through 24/7 Assistance Centre. 2. International SOS Crisis Center In an emergency such as disaster, terrorism and rioting, our security experts activate Crisis Center (our incident management resources and on-the-ground security teams) and provide the following supports. 1) Set up of 24/7 communications between your head office and evacuees 2) Ongoing provision of referrals, advice 3. Referrals for security providers Refer local security providers on your request basis. Security drivers, Security escorts, Security trainers, Security company etc. 4. Evacuation Services In an emergency such as disaster, terrorism and rioting, we evacuate employees and their families to the nearest safe haven by chartered planes. In case that evacuation decisions are made by International SOS, International SOS guarantees the cost for evacuation. Other available resources to accomplish the evacuation including private aircraft, ground and/or sea transportation. Services will be charged and need to get company s authorization 1. Travel Security Consulting Services Provide Personal Security Awareness Training and Security Seminar for risk managers 2. Consulting services outside Japan and Emergency Response Planning Consulting Dispatch our security experts to investigate local security and provide security measures, survey reports and emergency response plans for your area or overseas location.
4 How can International SOS help you? It s not urgent but Call our Assistance Centres anytime. When you feel sick or get injured, please call us first. Our doctor, nurse and coordinator will provide medical advices. I have a chronic disease. What should I prepare when I travel overseas? Call our Assistance Centres. We will provide you with destination-specific information and help you to prepare yourself for your health. I would like to see a doctor overseas. Is there any good hospital? Depending on your location and condition, we will refer you to a recommended hospital. We will also make an appointment with a doctor. Worry about medical expenses. I m not sure if my insurance is available.. With your company s authorization, we will guarantee your payment of medical expenses. It might take time to get Insurer s authorization since they make an assessment if the condition applies to insurance policy. We assist first regardless of insurance policy. Please always keep this card and your guide with when you travel.
