2 Hebrews 10:23-25 NLT 23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm 24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another The writer of Hebrews encourages us to persevere in our faith. The call to persevere is a specific call to motivate and encourage one another in our journey of faith. At Living Hope, we respond to this challenge through relationships, support, and growth found in our HOPE Groups. We invite you to persevere in your faith by joining a new HOPE Group this spring. The call to discipleship is often contrary to the way of culture. Life is busy, crowded, noisy, and stressful; if we are not intentional, we allow the circumstances of life to push Christ from the center of our heart. We believe that you will find strength and encouragement to live in relationship with God as you make the decision to live out your faith in community. Our HOPE Groups are a great place to find that community. Our groups are the best place for you to: Meet new friends from within our church family Develop your faith and learn from Christ Find support from others through prayer & personal connection We have 7 new groups available this summer. Each group will begin the week of June 8th and conclude before school starts, the week of August 10th. Each group will meet at least 8 times during the summer months. As a part of a group this summer, you will have opportunity to meet new friends and grow in your faith, yet you won t be committing to anything beyond August. This is the perfect time for you to take the next step in your faith and join a HOPE Group. Transformation lies right around the corner for you. Will you accept the call to persevere? Pastor Brady 3

3 SUNDAY MONDAY SUNDAY FAQ s: What is Parent Rotation Childcare? Each parent in the group will take a turn watching children for the group. 2 parents each night watch the kids during the discussion. How often does each group meet? Each group will meet every week for minutes. You will meet roughly 8 times in a 10 week span. Can I attend more than 1 group? Yes, but we do ask that you fully commit to each group you join. How do I purchase my group material? You can purchase the material online using the purchase links provided on page 7, or speak with someone at the HOPE Groups Table in the lobby. Your Time Starved Marriage 6p / Olathe Homes This series is not about being more productive, but being more connected. After resolving communication meltdowns, finding time together is the number one relational need of most couples. Where does it go? We try to make it. Save it. Seize it. Buy it. And borrow it. And yet time continues to elude too many couples. With the men reading Wild At Heart and the women reading Captivating, our group will meet to discuss what we ve learned through each chapter about our unique gender roles, how we should view ourselves and the opposite sex, and how our masculinity or femininity reflects God s nature and brings us closer to Him the more we embrace our true design. Get ready to demolish cultural stereotypes and build a healthy perspective on your identity! If you are a grandparent, or soon to be grandparent, you won t want to miss this opportunity to learn from others experience. Grandchildren are one of God s greatest gifts. This group will explore the process of stewarding our children s sexuality by exploring a variety of topics introduced in Angry Birds & Killer Bees. We will explore sexuality in Biblically consistent, yet scientifically honest ways, so that you can equip your kiddos to live sexually pure lives.
