HIV Care Consortium Caseload The East Central IL HIV Care Connect (which CUPHD is the Lead Agent for) serves the following counties: Champaign, Clark, Clay, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Ford, Iroquois, Jasper, Kankakee, Lawrence, Livingston, Richland & Vermilion. TB Program C-U Champaign County Direct Observed Therapy (Active TB) 4 1 Weekly/Monthly Visits (Latent TB) 6 0 Positive TB Skin Tests 1 0 (CUPHD TB Clinic) Pending Active Cases (DOT) 1 0 TB TESTING/READS Walk-in Clinic Mon, Tues, Wed, Friday 8:30-11:30 and 1-4:30p This month, staff conducted 140 TB Skin Tests* *Client by residence will be reported as an addendum to this report The CUPHD TB Control Nurse works with each client who has a reactive TB Skin Test in a CUPHD clinic to ensure follow medical care. If the client does not have a physician, the TB Control Nurse coordinates the follow up with Frances Nelson. Community Based TB Skin Testing (included in totals above) TIMES Center Staff from the Division of Infectious Disease Prevention & Management is present at the TIMES Center from 7-7:30 am on Monday mornings to conduct TB Skin Testing and Wednesday mornings form 7-7:30 am to read the skin testing. During the month, 17 clients were TB Skin Tested. 3
4 Stepping Stones, Salvation Army Staff from the Division of Infectious Disease Prevention & Management is present at the TIMES Center from 7:30-8 am on Monday mornings to conduct TB Skin Testing and Wednesday mornings form 7:30-8am to read the skin testing. During the month, 8 clients received TB Skin Testing. Center for Women in Transition/ A Women s Fund Staff from the Division of Infectious Disease Prevention & offer TB skin testing to residents at CWIT/AWF, as needed. During the month, 18 clients received TB Skin Testing. Jail Project: Check Out Healthy All adult inmates at the Champaign County Correctional Facility who meet the IDPH screening criteria will be offered urine-based testing for gonorrhea and Chlamydia, rapid testing for HIV, and a blood draw for syphilis. Total Tests Completed * Number of Positive Tests Chlamydia 30 6 (0 results pending) Gonorrhea 30 1 (0 results pending) Syphilis 64 0 (0 result pending) HIV 63 1 Hepatitis C 6 3 Hep Vaccines 0 Referral to HIV Care Connect 1 At the Champaign County Juvenile Detention Center urine screening for Chlamydia & Gonorrhea is offered to all of the youth. 5 Pregnancy Screening Project 24 women were tested for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia when seeking Pregnancy testing this month. Of those testing, 4 (17%) was positive for Chlamydia (0 results pending) and 2 (8%) were positive for gonorrhea (0 results pending). CUPHD MOBILE OUTREACH PROGRAM: CUPHD Mobile (Champaign-Urbana, Champaign County) Teen WOW This month, services were not conducted outside of the two Champaign High Schools, Urbana High School, and Rantoul High School due to schools not being in session. 0 youths received services on Teen WOW (0 females and 0 male). 0 African American, 0 White, and 0 Hispanic. 0 youth received risk reduction messages and supplies.
