1 We now have in place a transfer credit agreement with Ivy Tech where we have articulated 411 semester hours that may be transferred from any Ivy Tech campus to Indiana University Bloomington. The courses may be taken before or after IU Bloomington matriculation. Beginning summer 2001, some Ivy Tech campuses have started using Vincennes University's department names and course codes. As a result, the Ivy Tech transcript may have VU departments and course numbers in place of the approved Ivy Tech departments and course numbers. When the Ivy Tech and Vincennes courses are listed together, they are considered equivalents. The Ivy Tech departments and numbers are in bold print. Bold numbers in (parentheses) are new ITCC numbers effective Summer Each course is effective dated, and the course will transfer as long as a grade of C or higher was earned, unless specified differently. These are called "undistributed" (UN) credits because we can't give them a specific IU course number. In addition, most courses in fine arts, music, Slavic languages, East Asian languages, Sign language and level business are transferred to IU as undistributed according to these departments' instructions. The decision as to how UN courses fit into your degree program is made by the school/division in which you are pursuing your degree. Please contact them for additional information. While every effort is made to provide accurate and current information, Indiana University reserves the right to change without notice statements listed herein concerning rules, policies, courses, or other matters.
