2 ABOUT ME Christ Temple New Life in Port Arthur, Texas was simply a house of worship for some. However, it was also the incubator for the development of a great musical talent. This was the place where Brittani Washington first showed great promise as a musician at the tender age of 6 years old. Serving as the pianist for her parent s church for 17 years, Brittani developed into a powerhouse of talent and ambition. As though her fingers dancing across 88 keys wasn t enough, she went on to master her vocal abilities and added bass, drums, and guitar to the mix. Brittani knew that she needed to hone her craft further than the walls of her parent s church in a small rural Texas town roughly 100 miles from Houston. This revelation brought her to study music, acting, modern dance, and communication at both Texas Southern University and Prairie View A&M University respectively. While she was dedicating her time to academics and music, she took advantage of local opportunities to perform and share her art. In the midst of her solidifying her craft as a professional on the instruments she had mastered, a nationwide call was announced to back up Pop Diva Beyoncé Knowles, who was looking to form an all female band. Brittani knew that this was a fantastic gateway to put her work out there. Of the 5000 women who aspired to take a seat with Queen Bey, Miss Washington was chosen as the primary keyboardist and toured with Beyonce for over half a decade an opportunity that would take her to 78 cities in 32 countries over 5 continents.

After touring with Beyoncé (nationally and internationally) for 6 years, she returned to her roots at Texas Southern University where she completed her Bachelor s in Radio/TV/Film at the top of her class. While completing this deferred goal, she was an intern at Fox News where she presented Houstonians with their morning dose of news. Aside from Beyoncé, Brittani has performed with the likes of Ceelo Green, Klymaxx, Black Girls Rock All Star Band, and even for the 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Obama. Her talents have enabled her to perform on many award shows, to serve as Musical Director for the hit stage play Dream With Your Eyes Open (directed by Toussaint Duchess), and led her to be one of the most influential faces of Roland USA. In 2010, Brittani teamed with Roland USA and Modern Music to inspire children to perfect their musical talents through lessons of dedication and consistency traits that are inherent in her drive and ambition. In 2016, she honored the legacy of the late great, Prince, in London by teaming up with Mark Ronson and Ceelo Green for a stupendous tribute. As a woman reared with Southern principles, it s no surprise that Brittani has a heart as big as her home state of Texas. Brittani leads an organization that helps less fortunate musicians living on the street who still want to achieve their dream; she s passionate about work dealing with battered women; she s a realist, and is most proud of her work as a humanitarian.
