2 GENERAL INFORMATION FOR THE SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME The scientific sessions will be held from February 1985 at Baghdadi Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum. Three scientific sessions are scheduled for each day from 8.00 am. to 9.30 am., 10 a.m. to am. and 12 noon to 1.30 p.m. All sessions should start and end punctually. Types of sessions: 1- Symposia: Two symposia on Immunizable Diseases and Vaccination and a third on Diarrhoeal Disease and Dehydration have been organized. The sessions have a duration of minutes and there will be 5 speakers per session. Each of these will be presided by a chairperson who will moderate and conduct the sess~on in accordance with its topics and the time available. 2- Workshop: 150 minutes have been alloted to a Workshop on Vaccination 3- Free Communications: The free paper sessions are scheduled mostly in the morning from 8.00 to 9.00 am. They will be presided by chairperson and 5 papers will be presented per session.

4 Languages The official languages of the Conference are English and Arabic. Slides: All slides to be used for all sessions must be submitted }vefore the start of the session concerned to enable the speaker to arrange his slides and discuss with the projectorist/technician. Only slides of 5cm x 5cm (2" X 2") will be accepted. Thumb-spot all slides in the lower left~hand corner when the slide reads correctly on hand viewing. Add sequence numbers.
