3 P R E S E N T A T I O N S Dr. Peter Nordland teaches Oral Plastic Surgical Techniques. Listed below are some of the courses that Dr. Nordland has taught with lectures to international, national, state and county dental societies, dental schools, study groups and the military. He has presented hundreds of programs in the United States as well as Europe, Asia, Central America and Canada. Courses include lectures and hands-on demonstration formats. His lectures focus on advances in Oral Plastic Surgery. Dr. Nordland is the founder of the Nordland Oral Microsurgical Institute. He is considered an authority in Periodontal Plastic Surgery, co-founder and President of the International Society of Periodontal Plastic Surgeons and is responsible for developing many of the current oral microsurgical techniques and instruments. Dr. Nordland is the only San Diegan Fellow of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. This prestigious organization is the premiere teaching academy of both medicine and dentistry with its membership limited to less than 100 of the world s leaders in their respective fields.
