6 Special Needs Dentistry Nearly 20% of the population suffers from some form of disability, whether physical/developmental, intellectual or a combination. At Casey Dental we specialize in treating individuals who may not understand the importance of maintaining good dental hygiene or who, due to a wheel chair or other device, may not be able to see a dentist at their office. Our Special Needs suite offers: Larger rooms for easy access Mobile trays to accommodate patients who cannot be placed in a treatment chair In-office sedation for patients with severe anxiety Quiet rooms to help ease a patients mood An affiliation with an outpatient surgery center Convenient built-in nitrous system Spacious consultation room to review treatment plans and post op instructions with care givers Sedation Dentistry: In-office sedation by our dental anesthesia team can assist with patients of early development, special needs, and to ease patients fears with their difficult dental procedures. Sedation dentistry allows patients to have all of their dental work done in one visit.
7 Endodontics At Casey Dental, we are firm believers in preserving as much natural dentition as possible. Having our patients receive endodontic treatments such as root canals, treating cracked teeth and other forms of dental trauma at one location can ease their fears of difficult dental procedures. Our patients can consult with the general dentist along with the endodontist without having to schedule another appointment or travel to another dental facility. Oral Surgery Our goal is to have patients with difficult and complex cases such as wisdom teeth, dental implants, and bone grafting done along side their general dentist in the same facility. This can make a potentially intimidating procedure easier to endure during extensive treatment and creates a team approach to their dental needs.
