8 INCI: Leucojum Aestivum Bulb Extract Skin whitening effect on melanocytes and melanogenesis A concentration and time dependent effect on melanin synthesis in human normal epidermal melanocytes (NHEM) is observed with the IBR-Snowflake. The effect increases between day 3.5 and 7 in as low as 0.08% of the product to be 45% in day 3.5 and 70% inhibition in day 7. At the same time, an inhibitory effect on melanocytes proliferation is observed as well. The results serve as a strong support to the effect of IBR-Snowflake on skin whitening

12 INCI: Leucojum Aestivum Bulb Extract in vivo test - design CLINICAL EFFICACY AS ANTIPERSPIRANT Based on the precedent Botox-like anti wrinkle effect of IBR-Snowflake; and in analogy with the use of Botox as treatment against excessive sweating: antiperspirant effect was tested The study was a double-blind and intra-individual study. N=24, aged (average 30), all female, presenting strong perspiration in the armpit area defined as evaporation on both armpits 100mg/20min/armpit at C and 30-40%HR. 1% IBR-Snowflake cream was applied twice daily for 1 week, on the armpit area. Gravimetric measurement of sweating quantities was taken: cotton balls were weighed before and after being held under the armpit for a standardized period of time under standardized conditions of (sweat-inducing) temperature and humidity - the difference in weight corresponding to the amount of sweat released.

13 INCI: Leucojum Aestivum Bulb Extract in vivo test - results CLINICAL EFFICACY AS ANTIPERSPIRANT Based on the precedent Botox-like anti wrinkle effect of IBR-Snowflake; and in analogy with the use of Botox as treatment against excessive sweating: antiperspirant effect was tested 1% IBR-Snowflake cream The product containing 1% IBR-Snowflake provided an antiperspirant effect in comparison to initial state. This effect is characterized by a significant decrease of 36% of perspiration after seven days of repeated twice a day applications and 24 hours after single standardized application. The decrease of perspiration level of 212 mg of sweat on average on D8 (p=0.002). No relevant undesirable reaction was observed during the study.
