4 Lets Dance! Ballroom & Latin Dance Class Xcite Ageing Well project is excited to offer a new Beginners Ballroom and Latin Dance Class for Adults! Delivered by Frederico & Nuno of Dance4Passion, United Kingdom Alliance (UKA) Qualified instructors. Ballroom Dances: Waltz,Quickstep, Foxtrot, Tango and Viennese Waltz. Latin Dances: Cha Cha Cha, Jive, Rumba, Samba and Paso Doble. All sessions are suitable for Beginners and there is no need to have a partner. Come along and join in the fun relaxed sessions. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear appropriate for this activity. Linedancing If you enjoy Line Dancing or would like to try it for the first time then this class is for you! Easy to follow steps will ensure you have great fun at this class.

These sessions are designed for Beginners or for customers who are looking for a Low impact Low intensity programme. 6 Dive in! FREE FOR 60+ Buddy Swimming Have you ever wanted to feel more confident in water? Had a fright when you were younger? Never had the time to get back in the water? Well here is an opportunity for you to come along and join in our Buddy Swimming session. You will be met at the reception by one of our Ageing Well Volunteers who will provide you with the support and encouragement you will need to feel more comfortable in the water. Public Swimming Available Xcite Swim Venues: Armadale, Bathgate, Broxburn, Linlithgow, Livingston and Whitburn with poolside Sauna/Steam Rooms.
7 Get Creative! Knit and Natter Xcite Ageing Well and partners invite you to join our Knit and Natter group. If you enjoy knitting or wish to try knitting then this would be the ideal session for you. A great opportunity to meet new people, socialise and enjoy a good old natter whilst enjoying this knitting session. Needles, wool etc will be provided however feel free to bring your own. We will also be offering Tea and Coffee. ARTS C RAFT S &group Paper crafts, card making, decoupage, florals, and lots of different kinds of crafts depending on the interests of the group. Come along and join in the group no need to book.
8 FREE Walking group Our Health Walks are: Short Safe Social Local Low level with a trained leader to show you the way Join a walking group in your local area! Please arrive 10 minutes prior to Walk start time to allow for registration and welcome.
9 Get Sporty! Walking Football Love football? All the rules are the same but players can only walk. No jogging or running! Just come along on the day, no need to book. A great way to keep active! In partnership with Craigshill Good Neighbour Network NEW AGE INDOOR KURLING New Age Kurling is a form of the original curling game which has been adapted so that it can be played indoors on any smooth flat surface, such as a sports hall, rather than on ice. Importantly, the game can be played by both able-bodied and disabled people of all ages alike. It is a fun activity to keep you active, socialise and meet new people.
10 Just for fun! Singing for Health Xcite Want to join a singing group? Here is a great opportunity for you to have fun, meet new people, socialise and become healthier all at the same time. This is an informal sing-a-long session. Emphasis is on fun, laughter and building friendships. Everyone is welcome to join in this session! mins Tea and coffee and social time followed by an hour of sing-a-long Young At Heart Social Afternoon & Tea Dance Come along and join us for a full entertaining afternoon with friends old and new. 11 Fitness! Seated Exercise Seated Exercise Classes are a fun social way to exercise to increase you stamina, strength and flexibility. As we get older we need to continue to keep our joints moving. We have trained volunteers who will have your toes tapping to great music, an enjoyable class to improve your health without leaving your chair! No need to book just come along and join in the fun! Please note this class is available in some Shelter Housing for resisdents and are closed sessions. Ask at your Shelter Housing if these classes are available to you. Tai Chi Come along and try our Tai Chi class. Tai chi is gentle and not strenuous, but it has been shown to have a positive effect on muscle strength, flexibility and balance. Easy to follow, making it excellent for beginners and people who have limited time or ability. Loose clothing, soft flat shoes and a smile are all that is required.
