Hidden Opportunities Those that are high on derived but low on stated importance are the hidden opportunities which could potentially have a large effect of overall satisfaction Those with low importance on both measures (stated and derived importance) can be seen as least important for driving action as they only have a small impact on overall satisfaction Lower Opportunities Stated importance (low to high) Key Drivers There is likely be overlap between stated and derived importance factors these are the ones which should be prioritised - as they will potentially have the greatest impact on overall satisfaction Those that are high on stated importance and low on derived importance are the hygiene factors those which must be maintained, but will not necessarily impact on overall satisfaction Minimum Requirements 1. 6 Greatest changes in satisfaction, Are changes in satisfaction reflecting your interventions? Coaching Satisfaction has increased from 7.8 to 8.2, this is the domain with the biggest increase in satisfaction. The impact of the domain on overall satisfaction is higher than in Officials Satisfaction has increased from 7.8 to 8.2. The impact of the domain on overall satisfaction is higher than in People & staff Satisfaction has increased from 8.1 to 8.3. The impact of the domain on overall satisfaction is the same as in 2009.

8 Domains having a greater impact on satisfaction than in previous years The three domains that now have a greater impact on overall satisfaction than in 2009* Being able to take part in my sport at places that were not overcrowded 8 Ease of participating Being able to take part in my sport without being interrupted or disturbed by members of the public Being able to take part in my sport without being interrupted or disturbed by other sports participants The technical competence of the coach/coaches Coaching The coaches' ability to understand and respond to my particular needs The feedback I received from my coach/coaches was motivating and encouraging The knowledge and application of the rules demonstrated by qualified officials Officials The availability of qualified officials when I competed in my sport The level of respect the officials received from participants when I competed in my sport *The impact of these domains on overall satisfaction is greater than in 2009, however, please note these may not be the domains with the greatest impact on overall satisfaction. 16 From the mouths of participants A selection of open response comments: 16 Loving the 'adult' gymnastics at 34 I would like the availability of Adult classes on the weekends at my Trampoline centre Frustratingly every trampolining place stops courses during half term and summer holidays, even if the leisure centre is still open Too much emphasis on competition and not enough on sharing and cooperation It was enjoyable but it's hard work keeping up a sport during sixth form the coaches are really good and helpful Participation in sport has had a positive effect on other aspects of life including energy levels and performance at work
