Have you designated a key contact in your club to host the You, Me and Us educators and to discuss feedback after the session? Has your club previously completed any respectful relationships training? Section 2: Policy and practices Policies Does your sports club have policies relating to respectful behaviour and appropriate conduct? Do your policies detail procedures for responding to breaches of the policies or codes of conduct? Are your employees, coaches and committee members aware of and able to implement codes of conduct, policies and procedures that respond to disrespectful behaviour? Does your club promote a principle of shared responsibility for maintaining a respectful organisational culture? Is there a key staff member, volunteer or working group that has responsibility to raise wider organisational awareness of the existence and prevalence of violence against women and the importance of respectful relationships? Practices Do your coaches ensure that respectful behaviour occurs during training and competition matches? Are the athletes in leadership roles proactive in ensuring respectful behaviour occurs during training, competitions matches and club social activities?

Is your sports club involved in other prevention of violence against women activities, such as White Ribbon Day?

Do the women s and men s leagues have equitable access to equipment, training grounds, facilitates and competition fixtures? Club culture Is social entertainment booked by the club carefully reviewed to ensure there is no sexist, racist,, homophobic or transphobic content? Are women s and men s teams equally supported during competitions and equally recognised at awards nights? Are women s participation rates equitable to men s at your club, and if not, does your club have strategies to increase participation of women and girls?
5 Be an advocate in your club Is it clear that sexist behaviour, language and comments by staff, volunteers or young people are unacceptable and will not be tolerated? Do you lead by example and challenge sexist and disrespectful behaviour at the club? Do you promote your commitment to gender equitable respectful relationships programs in your newsletter, on your website, in s and in promotional materials? Staff and volunteer development Is there a structure in place where you can disseminate learning from the You, Me and Us professional development training to coaches, committee members and volunteers? Have staff and volunteers participated in awareness training on the importance of gender equitable respectful relationships? Do staff and volunteers have access to respectful relationships resources, tools and training? Do you actively recruit women into decision-making roles and paid positions within your club?
