3 3 Fitout Options Equipping a functional gym the CHEK Way A Functional studio or training facility that is laid out to the specifications of a CHEK Practitioner will look very different from what you normally find in a commercial fitness center. There will be very few, if any, weight machines! What you see is a training area dedicated to free weights, several pieces of cable equipment including the GRAVITY Training system, a squat rack and lifting platform and an area dedicated to Swiss ball and medicine ball training. This training tool can replace several common pieces of gym equipment and allows the exerciser to train through functional movement patterns, unlike many other apparatus. 5 5 Triple X Variations Super Mini X Stack Options Triple X Variations The Super Mini X is a cost effective alternative for smaller Studios where space is at a premium. Single Stack Double Stack A Double Stack can be used on its own or combine 2 Double Stacks with a crossover bar making it a Quad X creating four stations. Dynamic Personal Trainer option (not shown) has a half squat rack on the back of the Double stack. HQH will have a Solution that best fits your needs.
6 6 Squat Racks & Weights EZI Lift Plates Squat Rack with Barbell & Colored Ivanko Weights Squat Racks, Barbells and Weights No Functional studio is complete without a Squat Rack, Barbell and a set of weights for squats and dead lifts. HQH provides quality barbells (1500 or 2500 Lb tested) and rubber coated or steel weights. We can provide: Ivanko colored weights. EZI Lift weights in black rubber which make handling the plates easier. Uncoated plates also available.
7 7 Dumbbells & Racks Dumbbell Rack Tower Storage Dumbbells & Racks Dumbbells are a key component of a functional studio perfect for rehabilitation and strength conditioning. Rubber and Chrome Hex Dumbbells are available in a variety of increments. HQH will have a solution that meets your needs. We can Provide: Varying weight increments upto 50kg. Variety of storage options in space saving towers or double and triple tier racks.
8 8 Swiss Balls & BOSU. Duraball Pro Swiss Ball The DuraBall Pro Swiss ball is the best commercial anti burst ball (1000kg burst resistant) on the market. Many balls claim anti burst properties without the vigorous testing protocols that the Duraball Pro is subjected to. The testing protocols developed for the Duraball Pro by the University of Newcastle are considered the best in the world for inflatable PVC products. The Duraball Provides optimal mechanical properties such as low stretch, increased proprioceptive feedback and years of service. A variety of colors and sizes are available. Accept no imitations. BOSU Balance Trainer The BOSU (both sides up) Balance Trainer is ideal for static and dynamic balance training. The BOSU can also be used to integrate balance challenges into cardiovascular, muscular strength and endurance, core and flexibility training. Either side can be used to challenge balance with different body positions. DVD support material available.
9 9 Medicine Balls & Airex Mats Live Active Bounce Medicine Balls The Live Medicine Ball is manufactured with a thickened skin and weighted plastic to create a medicine ball with a very active bounce. The balls are conveniently air-filled so you can modify the bounce factor by inflating or deflating the ball. Ideal for throwing and catching training. Perfect Companion Product: Dynamic Medicine Ball Rebounder (page 19). Airex Mats A lightweight and easy rollup mat, the Airex Mat also offers a flat, non-slip, well-cushioned surface which is hard wearing and long lasting. Comes in 2 lengths 140cm and 180cm and is 1cm thick. Great for Pilates and yoga mat work..

11 12 GRAVITY Accessories Telescoping Toe Bar. Telescoping Toe Bar facilitates many beginning, intermediate, and advanced Pilates exercises. It locks onto the Folding Platform at the base of the GRAVITY or Total Gym frame and can telescope to three different heights. Leg Pulley System. The Leg Pulley System allows the user to transform their GRAVITY Unit to facilitate a number of traditional and evolved Pilates and Personal Training exercises. Standing Platform. Standing Platform facilitates proper body alignment during Pilates and other exercises while it provides dynamic instability toward improving balance and tone. The standing Platform attaches to the base of the GTS.
12 13 GRAVITY Accessories Continued Press Bar The Press Bar attaches to the bottom rail of the GTS and provides both a wide and narrow grip for Military-style Press exercises. Retractable Dip Bars. The Retractable Dip Bars enable you to target all three heads of the triceps, providing a true Dip movement pattern. The Dip Bars retract and fold out of the way when they are not in use. 3 Grip Pull-up Bar One single accessory facilitates biceps, back and lat work. The wide grip allows you to work the upper back and lats while the narrow grip puts more focus on biceps and lats.
13 14 GRAVITY Accessories Continued Clased Chain Platform Closed Chain Platform facilitates a number of lower body exercises while allowing for a wide variety of leg or foot positions. Use it also in combination with other products such as the BAPS board to safely and gradually challenge balance and mobility. A must have for rehabilitation specialists. Weight Bar Simply slide the Weight Bar through the holes in the Total Gym glideboard and add the weight you need to enhance and extend your workout. Squat Handle Bar Squat Handle Bar provides increased stability and control of the glideboard, and is essential when you have extra weights on the weight bar.
14 15 GRAVITY Accessories Continued Scrunch The Scrunch accessory facilitates simple progression of abdominal workouts, lengthens muscles, supports proper posture and sculpts muscles. Contrary to a normal crunch, the user s legs drive abdominals in every Scrunch exercise for overall function and correct biomechanics. Deluxe Slide Distance Regulator The GTS/PowerTower Slide Distance Regulator lets you reduce either or both the incline and decline travel distances of the glideboard. You can use it also to lock the glideboard in place. A must have for rehabilitation specialists.
