Demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities to assess the health status of individuals and the ability to conduct exercise testing and interpretation as identified by NASM, ACSM and NSCA. 3. Apply basic competencies required of a fitness professional in a sports medicine, cardiac rehabilitation, fitness center or sports training facility. 3. Describe how your program has addressed the comments from the Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Committee during the past two academic years? (If you have made changes to your plan, file a revised Assessment Plan Cover Sheet and Assessment Planning Form(s).) 4. 3 Demonstrate knowledge of integrated training, fitness assessments and program design as defined by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine and National Strength and Conditioning Association. Unit Examinations, Fitness Assessments, Program Design Assignments Seventy-Five percent of the Exercise Science students will average 70% or higher on the Ninety percent of the Exercise Science students scored at least 70% or higher on the Existing department resources are appropriate to address the learning outcome assessed. 3

4 Demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities to assess the health status of individuals and the ability to conduct exercise testing and interpretation as identified by NASM, ACSM and NSCA. Unit Examinations, Lab Assignments Seventy-five percent of the Exercise Science students will average 70% or higher on the Ninety-one percent of the Exercise Science students scored at least 70% or higher on the Existing department resources, specifically differential tuition, may need to be revisted to address the learning outcome assessed. 4

5 Apply basic competencies required of a fitness professional in a sports medicine, cardiac rehabilitation, fitness center or sports training facility.
