1 THE WHO S WHO AND THE WHAT S WHAT OF THE ALIVE STUDENT CONFERENCE 2018 Student Session Speaker We are very excited to announce that this year s speaker is Alex McFarland. As a speaker, writer, and advocate for Christian apologetics, Alex McFarland has spoken in hundreds of locations throughout the US and abroad. He has preached in over 1,500 different churches throughout North America and internationally, and has been featured at conferences such as The Billy Graham School of Evangelism, Focus On The Family s Big Dig, Josh McDowell s True Foundations events, California s Spirit West Coast, and many more. Worship Leaders Summerhill, is a collective of musicians who call City Church in Conway Arkansas their home church. Their stated mission is to use music to help people experience Jesus. If you leave only talking about the band, we ve done something wrong. We want to worship our God and King alongside of you as we continue to realize how much he loves us together. 321 Improv Entertainment 321 Improv creates a unique, interactive comedy experience unlike any you ve been part of before. 321 Improv instantly turns audience suggestions into hilarious scenes that will bring tears to your eyes, a pain to your side and will make your face ache with laughter! Carl Crispin started 321 Improv in 2004 and has been traveling and performing improvisational comedy full time for 18 years. Joining wits with Mike Domeny and Jeremy Schofield, 321 Improv brings a level of energy that makes the show completely unpredictable. They ve performed in more than 40 states and 4 Canadian provinces bringing true joy and laughter to almost a million people. Recreation Chesterfield Sports Fusion Recreation this year will take place at Chesterfield Sports Fusion We have the entire place rented, this is gonna be fun! Medical Release Form Each student must have a medical release form in case of accident or illness. Each church is responsible for collecting and keeping the medical releases for its students. Conference T-shirts A conference t-shirt will be provided for all who register by December 4th. T-shirts will be handed out at the registration table outside the ballroom of hotel between 3:00 and 6:45 on December 27th 2018.

5 THE HOW TO ON REGISTERING FOR THE ALIVE CONFERENCE PART A The cost of the 2018 ALIVE Conference is $55.00 per person (non-refundable). (In the event the conference is cancelled because of weather, registration fees will be refunded, less amounts necessary to cover non-recoverable conference costs.) NEW CHURCH DISCOUNT OF $40 PER REGISTRANT ONLY APPLIES TO THOSE CHURCHES THAT ARE COMING TO ALIVE FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME. General Registration The Registration Fee of $55.00 per person OR $40 per person for 1st TIME CHURCHES (check payable to ) along with the Registration Form, must be received by December 4th 2018 to avoid a late registration fee. Send these to: C/O Brad Banderman 569 Bethel Church Rd. Lonedell, MO Late Registration The late registration cost is $65.00 per person for those who do not register by December 4th. This late registration charge does not apply to registered churches that simply add additional attendees after the deadline. Late registrations will be accepted but there is no guarantee of a conference T-shirt.

The room rate this year is $70.00 (plus tax) per room, per night. Churches can avoid the sales tax by supplying a tax exempt letter and paying with church check or church credit card. Hotel tax is still required. RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE BY TUESDAY, December 4th, 2018 TO BE GUARANTEED THE $70.00 RATE. Please Note: To avoid any confusion, each church is responsible for making their own room reservations. We encourage early hotel reservations by phone or and to notify the hotel that you are with the Student Conference. Please make reservations with your Church Name. If you encounter difficulty with your hotel reservations please notify Brad Banderman at ( Committee Registration Czar) immediately instead of waiting until you arrive at the conference. Remember, after the December 4th deadline the room fee or availability of rooms is not guaranteed. Please call early so you can meet the deadline. Hotel Lingo to keep in mind Adjoining Room: Room that is NEXT to another room. Connecting Room: Room that has a PASS thru door to another adjoining room. All Adjoining and Connecting Rooms are on a first come first serve basis.
