2 EGFR Advisors Network (EAN) meeting for squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN) Dear Colleague, It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in this year s EGFR Advisors Network (EAN) meeting in Berlin, Germany. In previous years, these meetings have been extremely successful, and the 2015 meeting will continue the tradition of combining thought-provoking lectures with interactive workshops over the course of the 2 day agenda. Commencing after lunch on Friday and closing on Saturday afternoon, this meeting will provide the latest expert insights into the management of SCCHN and focus around the challenges physicians face for their patients today. Topics covered will include optimizing treatment strategies for each patient, achieving the best balance between efficacy and quality of life, effective management of treatment-related toxicities and the importance of the multidisciplinary team in SCCHN treatment today. In addition to plenary presentations, we plan to hold several workshops for delegates that we hope will provide practical, expert-led discussions to help them with the challenges physicians face day-to-day. Furthermore, sessions focusing on patient experiences, live MDT discussions and personal development communications workshops will give delegates the opportunity to gain personal insight into the perspectives of experts within the multiple specialties involved in the treatment of SCCHN. We look forward to welcoming you to Berlin for what we hope will be a truly stimulating and engaging meeting.
