3 To all physicians working in the field of specialised palliative medicine Invitation to the Summer School in Palliative Medicine 2018 January 2018 Dear Colleagues, The Physicians Group of palliative ch has received the assignment to bring together its members on a regular basis for specific continuing education relating to our profession and our discipline. For the third edition of this Summer School, we hope to have prepared an interesting programme (see attached file). The goal of these Summer Schools is to help in building a professional community and develop a common vision, prepare the future and set up a network within our medical subspecialty. This year, the Summer School will be held in English so that more colleagues from French- and Italian-speaking Switzerland can participate. 4 Important information - Summer School in Palliative Medicine 2018 The 3 rd Summer School in Palliative Medicine will take place on June 27 & June 28, 2018 in the LOEWENBERG CONFERENCE CENTRE near Murten 1. Beginning of the Summer School Wednesday June 27, 10:00 End of the Summer School Thursday June 28, 16:00 Closing of the Registration April 30, Target audience Physicians working in the field of specialised palliative medicine. 4. Registration Places are limited. Please send your registration before April 30, 2018 to Fax or to emmanuelle.perey@chuv.ch; Registrations will be considered on a first come, first served basis, according to the date of receipt of the registration fee. Please make your payment according to indications on the registration form (a payment slip can be sent out on request.) 5. Language The Summer School will be held in English. 6. Registration Fees CHF 400 for members of palliative ch CHF 500 for non-members of palliative ch (annual membership fee: CHF 100) The fees include teaching, meals, snacks, and accommodation at the Centre (single-room only) for the night of June Unfortunately, we cannot offer a reduction for participants not staying overnight at the Loewenberg Centre. Participants wishing to arrive on the evening of June 26 should indicate this to Mme Perey no later than May 31.
