5 Future Volunteering We are planning a trip to Feed my Starving Children during second semester during the school day In January we will be making mats for the homeless, out of grocery store bags We are also planning on volunteering at nursing home. This may include making cards for those in the home. 5

6 Book Drive KEY club along with the rest of PEHS is going to participating in a children s book drive. All donated books will be split among the elementary schools Creekside, Liberty, and Eichelberger. Every child deserves the chance to get lost in an amazing book! 6

8 Holiday Party Our next meeting on December 11 th will be our holiday party! Admission to the party is a donation of a children s book We will be a doing a white elephant gift exchange. This is OPTIONAL but participants should re-gift an item or choose to spend a maximum of $1. There will be an ugly sweater contest! This is OPTIONAL. Feel free to buy a sweater or make your own. Goodwill is a great place to look. Feel free to bring extra food or drinks. Pizza will be provided 8

10 T-shirt designs Please submit any additional t- shirt designs to Mrs. Frey ASAP! If your are interested in buying a shirt, write your name and t-shirt size on the sheet going around 10

12 Random Acts of Kindness Try and complete one act of Kindness every day. It doesn t take a big action to make a big difference. This week s Act of Kindness: Bring at least one new person to our next meeting- but rsvp to Mrs. Frey for pizza (cz, pep, or saus?) 10/9/
