National TDE DDS school survey was discussed. A preliminary budget was provided, but our Section does not have enough money to contribute 10%. Portfolios in adult learning no update. Cultural Competency The proposal is coming along nicely. The plan is to develop guidelines for creating cases that teach cultural sensitivity (among other things) rather than, say ten cases. We could specify the specific or generic skills needed and how to teach and evaluate them. We could then illustrate this process with actual cases. Project pool - Arnett - National survey of DDS schools (survey questions). We have about $250 in our section account. The total project budget for the survey is roughly $4000. We are looking for some money from ADEA and are unsure how a grant would relate to our section account funds. We are waiting on ADEA
