1 Welcome from the Conference Committee Chair September 2018 Stamford Grand Glenelg Adelaide It is with great pleasure that I invite you to the 2018 Anglicare Australia National Conference, to be held at the Stamford Grand Glenelg in Adelaide, from September, Adelaide offers outstanding art and music, a burgeoning small-bar scene, and a festival calendar that is world-class. Our conference venue is located in the vibrant seaside shopping suburb of Glenelg, and is a short tram ride away from Rundle Mall, the Botanic Gardens, and Adelaide Central Markets. We are all looking forward to seeing how Adelaide has evolved in the eight years since we visited for our last conference. As with all of our conferences, delegates will be treated to concurrent sessions from experts from across the Anglicare network; some outstanding keynote addresses; and networking opportunities throughout the three days. Our theme for 2018, Courage in Kindness: Driving Change in Work and Community, captures our work and our mission. As Anglicare Australia Network members, we work in hundreds of communities across Australia responding to the needs of people in need of care.
