12 Steering Committee Steering committee first met in October Involves members from six PHUs. PSSP convened and supports the group. Co-chaired by OPH and TPH. 12

13 Purpose Purpose: Support public health professionals in Ontario to connect, share, and explore the practice of mental health promotion in public health. 13

14 Objectives Support public health practice in response to provincial priorities. Share experiences in planning, implementing, and measuring the impact of mental health promotion programs and policies. Facilitate collaboration and partnership across public health units. Increase access to evidence and evaluated programs. Share information and resources. 14

15 Activities to Date Created and populated online platform on EENet Connect for information and resource sharing. Provided feedback to MOHLTC on mental health promotion guideline. Held in-person steering committee meeting. Developed Terms of Reference, draft knowledge exchange plan. 15

16 Knowledge Broker Support Through funding from MOHLTC, HPRC/EENet provides knowledge broker support to meet the evidence needs of the group. For example: developing knowledge exchange products in response to need organizing in-person events for knowledge sharing connecting the group with subject matter experts leveraging the CoP to support system level MHP activities. 16

17 About EENet Connect EENet Connect is an online community where members of Ontario s mental health and addictions system create profiles, share knowledge, and collaborate more effectively with one another. 17

18 How Do I Become a Member? Membership is limited to those working in one of Ontario s public health unit. Webinar participants will receive an from PSSP with a registration link to join the CoP. After registering, you will receive an invitation to become a member. 18

21 Community of Practice Champions Network 1 representative from each public health unit (PHU). Community of Practice Champions Network Network meets four times per year. Main point of contact between PHU and steering committee. Representative can bring other staff to network meetings 21

22 Community of Practice Online Members Community of Practice Online Members Multiple representatives from PHUs. Participate in survey to identify evidence needs for mental health promotion. Share information on EENet Connect and inform overall direction of community of practice. 22
