2 Northwoods Coalition Alliance for Wisconsin Youth (AWY) In 2007, Wisconsin was divided into 5 regions AWY supports over 100 substance abuse prevention coalitions Marshfield Clinic CCO is the Regional Center for the Northernand Western Regions of the Alliance for Wisconsin Youth Northwoods Coalition = Northwestern Regional Alliance Northwoods Coalition Today s Agenda: Strategic Prevention Framework Marshfield Clinic Alliance for Wisconsin Youth Regional Centers Present Strategic Prevention Framework Northwoods Coalition Assessment Profile population needs, resources, and readiness to address needs and gaps Capacity Mobilize and/or build capacity to address needs Planning Develop a Comprehensive Strategic Plan Implementation Implement evidence-based prevention programs and activities Evaluation Monitor, evaluate, sustain, and improve or replace those that fail 2
