($1100) Helping Families Cope with HIV (Co-PI) (May 2009-July 2011): Funded by the Child Health Center Board, an agency that awards grants within Children s National Medical Center, this pilot study focused on examining the experiences of siblings and young family members of HIV+ youth. A mixed method approach was used to document affected youths experiences within their families, knowledge about and perceived stigma of HIV, emotional and behavioral functioning, coping skills and quality of life.
