MULTIMIN is right there at the treatment chute every time we process incoming cattle. We give MULTIMIN to all of our high risk cattle that come in with little or no backgrounding. Another shot of MULTIMIN is given to cattle at revaccination. All cattle that are pulled for the sickpen get MULTIMIN especially those that have respiratory conditions like BRD and pneumonia. If we don t give them MULTIMIN, we see a 10% to 20% drop in response and more retreats. Our MULTIMIN cattle are healthier. It s a fact that healthy cattle eat better and gain more. This negative effect on the marbling score could not be recovered during the finishing phase of the study even when the steers were supplemented with trace minerals. This finding suggests that TRACE MINERALS are important in the development of intramuscular fat. THE FINISHING PHASE OF STUDY INDICATED THAT: A trace mineral deficient diet prior to the finishing phase negatively impacts performance of cattle during the finishing period. But treatment with MULTIMIN 90 can alleviate these negative effects so that steers with trace mineral deficiencies perform as well as steers with adequate trace mineral status.

5 COMBINING MULTIMIN 90 WITH A MODIFIED LIVE VACCINE AT PROCESSING Did you know that modified live vaccines negatively affect the trace mineral status of recently vaccinated animals? This is due to different trace minerals playing an active role in different pathways of the acquired immune response. This may be critical for disease prevention in feedlot and stocker animals. COPPER ZINC SELENIUM MANGANESE Study data indicated that MULTIMIN treatment at the same time as vaccination maintains/improves the animal s trace mineral status. This may be critical in driving the immune response for better health and also for improved growth in beef producing cattle. Researchers at University of Florida have also reported that the concurrent application of MULTIMIN and modified live vaccines increased the production of neutralizing antibody titers against IBR (Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis)/ Rednose virus significantly in beef steers as early as 14 days after vaccination, maintaining this difference for at least 60 days.
