25 Summary RT XL753 led VT yields New Hybrid Gemini 214CL also did well Highest yielding conventional was Lakast Mermentau and Roy J were slightly behind Experimental CLX 1024 did best on loam, fell short on heavy clay CL 151 had lodging issues on the loam soil Highest yielding CL line on the clay CL 172 yield was unaffected by seeding rate
26 Summary Yields were increased on clay with hormone applications at heading, and preplant applications of K or CaSi Grain transparency was decreased following applications that delayed maturity Gibberellic Acid and K Grain transparency is also affected by location on the panicle Those that mature earlier have less chalkiness
27 Summary Micronutrient packages with S, Mn, B, or Zn improved yields over untreated checks MU s Crop Water Use app can be utilized in your furrow or pivot irrigated rice Provides daily irrigation scheduling 2016 Yields were not significantly affected by rooting depth input (Mainly due to user error) Nitrogen applications for furrow rice follow closely with flood irrigated rice Time-release or spoon feeding nitrogen also shows promise
