Label- written, printed or graphic matter on the immediate container or a statement accompanying a fertilizer Labeling- Labeling means all written, printed or graphic matter, upon or accompanying any soil amendment including advertisements, brochures, posters, tv, and radio announcements used to promote the sale This goes for soil amendment, compost, horticultural growing media, etc., as appropriate
Brand- the term, design or trademark used in connection with one or several grades of fertilizer Examples include: SuperGro Supreme Dave s Outrageous Plant Food
The grade is the percentage of Total Nitrogen (N), Available Phosphate (P 2 O 5 )and Soluble Potash (K 2 O) Grade should not include any nutrients other than above. The grade for mixed numbers must be in whole numbers such as Specialty fertilizers may be guaranteed in fractional units of less than one percent of (N) (P 2 O 5 ) and (K 2 O)
Guaranteed analysis is the manufacture s guarantee for minimum percentage of nutrients claimed for the product. Dave s Ultimate Fertilizer Guaranteed Analysis Total Nitrogen (N) 5% Available Phosphate (P 2 O 5 ) 7% Soluble Potash (K 2 O ) 12% Calcium (Ca) xx % Magnesium (Mg) xx % Sulfur (S) xx % Boron (B) xx % Iron (Fe) xx % No minimum guaranteed analysis
Derivation Statement- the derivation statement list the sources from the nutrients in the guaranteed analysis Directions for Use- Minimum statement used in accordance with the recommendations of a qualified individual/institution or according to an approved nutrient management plan.
The name and address of the person or company responsible for the guarantees on the label must be listed on the label. Dave s Sunshine Fertilizer Company 2584 Bourbon Street New Orleans Net weight: 5lbs.

Warning Statements or Caution Statements may be required when some micronutrients, such as boron or molybdenum, are present in excess of a state-defined level
Chelated Plant Nutrient-the product of a chemical reaction between a metal cation which is recognized as a plant nutrient and a chelating agent
Beneficial substances or compounds are any substance or compound other than primary, secondary and micro plant nutrients that can be demonstrated by scientific research to be beneficial
Contains Beneficial Substances Contains Beneficial Compounds Beneficial substance _ % (or acceptable units) Beneficial Compounds _% ( or acceptable units) Purpose Statement :

Soil Amendments- any substance or a mixture of substances intended to improve the physical, chemical, biochemical or other characteristics of the soil Plant Amendments- any substance applied to plants or seeds which is intended to improve germination, growth, yield, etc.
Net weight Brand name Guaranteed Analysis Purpose of the Product Directions for Application Name and Address of the Registrant

Dave s Outrageous Kelp Fertilizer
Dave s Kelp based fertilizer contains natural plant growth regulators, auxins, gibberellins, cytokinins. Each play a role in plant growth but more importantly, they function as chemical messengers for intracellular communication.
