3 Formal Long Case Assessment In-training Long Case Assessment 2 over (usually during final rotation) Assessed by two Paediatric Rehabilitation Fellows who are both accredited AFRM Long Case Assessors FLCA topics should be representative of the scope of clinical practice in paediatric rehabilitation medicine. 2 per 6-month rotation (except first term and final term of training) Total 8 over the, including 2 observed Assessed by one Paediatric Rehabilitation Fellow who is an accredited AFRM Long Case Assessor. and Candidate Instructions Manual for indepth examination details. assessed by two Fellows, only one who was required to be an accredited AFRM Long Case Assessor. trainees did not have to cover a variety of topic areas. assessor was not required to be an accredited To bring the process into line with other highstakes, summative assessments in the program and improve the rigour of the assessment process. Trainees are responsible for submitting their modules as early as possible to not risk delaying admission to Fellowship Modules 4 and 6 previously included transitional aimed at trainees first attempting the AFRM examination in this note was not included in the handbook.
