Then a face mask, according to your skin type, is applied. The procedure ends with skin treatment. Treatment around the eyes with a micro-massage This is treatment around the eyes with a special preparation, which protects the skin from premature aging. This treatment gives the entire face a youthful and fresh appearance. De Luxe manicure This cosmetic procedure combines a classic manicure with the benefi cial effects of paraffi n on blood perfusion in the skin and skin softness. The classic treatment of nails and nail beds is followed by the peeling of hands. This prepares the skin for the therapeutic effects of paraffi n. Moisturising milk is applied to the skin and then hands are repeatedly dipped in paraffi n so that a paraffi n glove is created. Hands are wrapped in foil and covered with a soft cloth until the hands are thoroughly warmed and the skin is softened. The skin of your hands will be soft and smooth, nail beds will be softer, and the hardened skin over the joints of your hand will be relaxed. De Luxe pedicure The fi rst step of this procedure is a foot bath in a mineral solution. This fi ne salt bath will soften your skin and enable the removal of hardened skin on heels and under toes. While the skin is drying and nails and nail beds are being treated, the dry application of a fi ne sander occurs. Using a special device, the sole of the foot is fi nely sanded. This mechanical treatment is followed by treatment with a special cream and the application of nail polish. Procedures Initial consultation and recommendations Treatment stays include a consultation with a doctor, who will assess your health, inform you of your options and risks, and elaborate some points of the programme you have chosen. During treatment stays, a client will undergo an initial examination, a basic biochemical examination, an ECG, and then the doctor will propose a treatment programme. A client is checked by a doctor every week. Consultation with a specialist During stays specialising in the musculoskeletal system, you will be examined by a specialist with many years of experience. He will carry out a set of examinations that will help him assess the condition of your musculoskeletal system, localise affl icted areas, and propose targeted procedures of rehabilitation, corresponding to your chosen stay programme. ECG examination The electrocardiograph is a device that records the electrical activity of the cardiac (heart) muscle. It is utilised to assess whether cardiac activity is normal or if there is a disorder. It reveals acute or chronic damage to the cardiac muscle, especially myocardial infarction.

3 Fango wrap Peat is a natural material that is created by the biotransformation of organic material in the soil. When utilised for natural wraps, the processed and heated peat is applied in a layer a few centimetres thick to body parts and then covered with a wrap for 20 minutes. The high heat and application time create a deep heat that relaxes muscles, washes infl ammatory products out of issues, regenerates tissues, stabilises the nervous system, has an anti-infl ammatory effect, and stimulates the metabolism. Because of its benefi cial effects on the skin and hypodermis, the wrap is also utilised for cosmetic purposes and to fi ght cellulite. Paraffi n hand wrap This is the application of paraffi n onto the skin of the hand and wrist. It has benefi cial effects on the small joints in the hand, skin and nail beds. Hands are immersed into paraffi n several times in order to form a warm fi lm of paraffi n on the skin. The hands are then wrapped in a cloth and left in the wrap. The application of paraffi n wraps softens hard skin over knuckles, improves mobility and alleviates pain in the small joints of the hand, and it boosts blood perfusion and nutrition of the nail beds thus improving nail trophics. Dry carbonic bath This is a full-body gas bath in which the client is encased up to the chest or neck in a special plastic bag fi lled with medicinal carbon dioxide. This improves the blood perfusion of the brain, heart and parenchymatous organs, lowers blood pressure, and reduces swelling. Carbonic bath from our own mineral spring well This is a highly effective procedure that utilises carbon dioxide dissolved in water. As you bathe the CO 2 bubbles envelop your body in tiny pearls of gas. Although initially cool, this sheath of pearls evokes a pleasant warm feeling caused by the dilation of capillaries in the skin. The carbon dioxide is absorbed through the skin and has a benefi cial effect on individual organs. It improves the performance of the heart, lowers blood pressure, improves blood perfusion in the blood vessels in the extremities, and improves tissue nutrition. Carbon dioxide greatly improves blood perfusion of the skin and hypodermis, thus improving their nutrition, elasticity and hydration. That is why these baths are utilised to prevent and treat cellulite. Whirlpool baths These are special baths in which the effects of heat and the mechanical effects of streams of water are utilised to warm and boost blood perfusion in the most strained parts of the lower extremities. Pearl bath During the procedure a patient is immersed into drinking water warmed to body temperature in a bath with a series of small openings in the bottom, into which compressed air is pumped in order to create a large amount of small bubbles.
