1 Deer Park High School North Campus English I Pre-AP Summer Reading Assignment Welcome to North Campus and the wonderful world of English literature!! We are very excited for the school year!! Each student entering English I Pre-AP is required to read BOTH of the following: 1. Introduction to Mythology (Just the Introduction, Part I, Part II, and Part IV), by Edith Hamilton AND 2. The Lord of the Flies by William Golding In addition to reading, you will also answer the study guide questions in this packet. Please answer all questions on notebook paper. You will turn in your finished assignment before the end of the first week of school. We hope you have a wonderful summer!
