During my training, I had rotations through all the subspecialties of anaesthesia i.e. General Surgery, Urology, Orthopedics, Pediatric Surgery, Gynaecology and Obstetric Epidurals, ENT, Ophthalmology, Neurosurgery, Maxillo-facial and Dental Surgery, Cardiothoracic, Day Care Surgery, Recovery Room, Radiology, Pre-anaesthesia Clinic, Acute and Chronic Pain Management and Intensive Care Unit. Intensive care unit is fourteen bedded where both medical & surgical patients are managed. The procedures I did during my rotation in ICU were insertion of central lines, arterial lines, pulmonary artery catheter and chest tube. I had also attended and managed almost all the surgical and medical emergencies under supervision and independently.

2 Clinical Observership Training Anaesthesia for LASER surgeries in ENT and head & neck cancer patients. The section of Otorhinolaryngology, Department of Surgery, had planned to start LASER surgeries in To start this new service, a team of two surgical colleagues, Anaesthetist and operating room (OR) technicians were asked to get relevant training in this subspecialty. Being coordinator of anaesthetic services for ENT / head & neck surgery, I was selected for training and went for clinical observership at Anaesthetics, Theaters and Critical care unit, Aintree University Hospitals, Liverpool, UK from th July I had observed anaesthetic management including prevention of airway fire and OR safety mechanism in LASER surgeries. Training and experience in Intensive Care Unit In January 2011, the adult intensive care unit was functionally separated in medical and surgical ICU. Always being interested in intensive care, I had chosen this is as career subspecialty and started doing clinical work in SICU since its inception. Later on, I used to take their regular tutorials since Also teaching them Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for last eight years and involved in facilitation of year 1 annual Basic Life Support sessions. I am also member of Department Undergraduate Committee for last 5 years. (See Appendix I) Postgraduate Since 2004, I have been involved in both formal and informal teaching of postgraduate trainees in Anaesthesia. Apart from one didactic faculty lecture and one tutorial coordination for residency training program every year, I am also actively involved in teaching related activity for residents rotating both in ENT/head & neck and surgical intensive care unit (See Appendix II). I have organized refresher courses related to postgraduate preparation for exams.
