2 One Clinical study visit at a time, you can help speed research that could transform millions of lives. Since The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson s Research (MJFF) opened its doors in 2000, we have been unwavering in our commitment to finding new therapies and, ultimately, a cure for Parkinson s. With the robust pipeline of therapies in development, the future has never looked brighter. However, there are still obstacles in our path to new treatments for Parkinson s disease (PD). Chief among these challenges is the need for participants to fill clinical trials. No amount of money can get us to a cure without volunteers like you people with and without Parkinson s. In coming here today to learn more about clinical research participation, you have demonstrated your commitment to accelerating progress in better understanding PD and testing new therapies. I, along with my colleagues at MJFF, am overwhelmed by your willingness and enthusiasm to be part of this critical work. One clinical study visit at a time, you can help speed research that could transform millions of lives. We hope that you walk away from today s Clinical Research Fair with the name of at least one study in which you may enroll and the knowledge that you can continue to find opportunities to participate in research by registering for the MJFF online clinical trial matching tool Fox Trial Finder. Thank you for participating in the Phoenix Clinical Research Fair and for your commitment to accelerating PD research. With deep gratitude, Sohini Chowdhury Deputy CEO The Michael J. Fox Foundation
