1 2012 NDSU ATHLETIC PARTICIPANT SURVEY Club Sport Athlete Summary The Office of Orientation and Student Success distributed a survey in March, 2012 to all NDSU college student athletic participants in Club, Intramural and NCAA sports. The survey sought to determine if differences existed in athlete drinking behaviors, attitudes and beliefs related to alcohol use and sports participation, and reported negative consequences connected to alcohol use and athletic participation. This summary details the findings on Club Sport athletes, with comparisons provided between Club, Intramural, and NCAA participants, as well as between Club Sport males and females. Table 1.
