5 High Burden Regions Oregon PDO Regions High burden regions were identified by a combination of indices on mortality, hospitalizations, prescribing data, opioid patient use, and county population. Regions consist of 2-4 neighboring counties, which were selected to receive federal funding

Clackamas Health Centers: Beavercreek, Sandy, Sunnyside WHAT IS PMIT? The PAIN MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENT TEAM (PMIT) provides training and mentoring on best clinical practices for pain management and safe opioid prescribing, quality improvement metrics, electronic health record (EHR) integration, work flow optimization, forming communities of practice, and other topics, using academic detailing and practice facilitation methods. 7 Prescription Drug Overdose Prevention Project: Regional Outreach Regions are funded to: Establish or strengthen a Pain Guidance Group, assisting clinicians with implementing the CDC Opioid Prescribing Guidelines; Establish or strengthen an Interdisciplinary Action Team, working with stakeholders and colleagues to guide the opioid prevention initiative; Assist medical directors with increasing the PDMP (Prescription Drug Monitoring Program) by enrolling prescribers; Work with community partners to educate and inform the public, prescribers and others by arranging training, summits or conferences within the region.
