Century of Lights 100 year of Gleam in 2015 A calendar of events is available at www.mindenlights.weebly.com We need your help to make this event extra special. Clubs, Civic groups, businesses, neighborhoods plan an event & join the celebration. Some ideas: business window decorating, soup feed before the Light of the World pageant, community snow ball fight, gingerbread decorating contest, music & roasting chestnuts on the square etc. Create your event and contact us and we will post it on the web site and help promote your event. Christmas City Tour of Homes 100 Years of Gleam in 2015 The Minden Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring it s Bi-Annual Christmas City Tour of Homes this year on Saturday December 5 th from 1 to 4. And this year is the 100 th year anniversary of the colored lights on the courthouse! The Minden Promotions committee is looking for homes to showcase during this tour - as well as designers who may want to display their talent in any of the homes. (Joy s Floral, Valerie s Interiors, etc.) If you or someone you know would like to volunteer to have your home included in this tour, please contact one of these committee members: Marcia Davis Chamber Director 832-1811 Lynette Beahm Chairperson 830-1075 In the past, we have had homes of all sizes so don t think your home is too small or too large just decorate it and share it!
