6 November Board of Director Minutes Chamber of Commerce Meeting September 6, 2017 Present:, Erica Hansen, Janene Hill, Joelle Knott, Kevin Krull, Carol Loschen, Conner Paterson, Kim Snavely, Dawn Thompson and Chamber Director Marcia Davis. Absent: Dena Beck, Natalie Janda, Jeanne Jons, and Simon McKenzie were absent. Meeting was called to order at 12:10 p.m. by President Kevin Krull Janene Hill moved to approve the Secretary minutes and current Treasurer s report as submitted. Dawn Thompson second, motion approved. Old Business I. BandFest Marcia Davis presented a financial review of the event. The gate fees and concession stand sales were down for the event, we believe this may have been a result of the cold weather. Expenses were up because the cost of trophies has increased. There should be something for everyone. III. Nomination Committee Nominations for Chamber Board are in place. Marcia informed the Board that she has sent one voting ballot to each Chamber Business via Survey Monkey. Chamber members are encourage to vote prior to the annual meeting on November 14, IV Budget: Marcia presented an updated budget for the Board to review. The budget will be discussed further at the December meeting. V. Annual Meeting November 14th: Kevin Krull urged the Board to encourage Chamber members to attend the meeting.
